April School Holiday Camp details here
We need your help!
Each year the number of new player registrations increases, so a lot of pre-planning takes place over the summer to meet the expected demand. The large number of players (over 220 in 2009) is great news for the club and the game in general, but it does bring with it challenges. In particular, during the season we are always on the look out for assistance. This year we have introduced a new junior committee which we hope will spread the workload. If you think you can help in any way please contact us.
At the start of the season we need team managers/coaches to teach kids the basics of the game. If you have or know of anybody with soccer skills or are keen to learn we would love to hear from you!
Sponsorship and/or Donation is another way in which you could help so if you would like to either sponsor a team or the club please get in touch.

...Top Teams |
We are committed to having high level competition teams in every grade. Places in these teams are allocated strictly on ability and also, very importantly, on attitude. If having been placed in one of these teams we feel that a player is struggling or not showing the correct attitude it may, on occasion, be necessary to move them down. Equally, players may also be moved into a higher level if it is felt they show the required skill level. This is done for the benefit of both the individual player and their team. By trialing for one of the top teams you are agreeing to this policy and accept that any decision made by the club is final. |
...Coaches & Managers |
This is always challenging for a club of our size. Please let us know if you are interested in coaching or managing a team during the 2009 season. |
...Rules |
There are a list of rules for each grade. Please read and make sure you understand them.
The 4th – 7th Grades are a Matamata based programme. All games will be played at the Domain Saturday mornings. We will notify you before the start of games and make timetables available on this web site. |
...Gear |
Players need to provide their own shorts, socks, boots and shin pads. The club provides the shirts (Home: black and white vertical stripes. Away: black and red vertical stripes ). Club shorts are black, socks are black with two white strips. These can be purchased from our local sports shop. |
