Matamata Swifts Ladies 10 v Morrinsville 2
Matamata played at the Domain on Sunday against an unknown Morrinsville
side.
This was entertaining game from start to finish. Morrinsville was a nice
team to play after the previous week... The game went Matamata's way as
they took out a 10-12 victory, with Natalie Gaskell scoring 7 of those
and Elena Parlane scoring 3 for her hat-trick.
Morrinsville's goalie was very good and put in some great saves. Becky
Stevens had a strong game as did Jenny Bird. Lani Guilford at left-back
used her body well to control the ball. The defense did well with Jennny
Wild at the helm.
Player of the day was Elena Parlane.
