Dwayne Barlow   2003 App Sub Gls 13 2 0 At the relatively young age of 31 Dwayne Barlow is a Matamata footballing identity. He played nearly 90 games in four Northern League seasons for Matamata (along with over 100 NL games for Te Awamutu) before returning to Matamata at the start of the 2000 season. After taking over as assistant coach in 2002 he stepped up to the top job in 2003. While the side didn't perform to his expectations, and his own season was hit by injury and travel, he has high hopes for an improved showing in 2004.
