The 'A' scored inside the first ten seconds, through young Matty Keenleyside, before going on to overpower their desperate opponents, who did well to end the game with nine players on the field. Leo Regalado scored twice, joining captain, Bevan Shelley, and Keenleyside on the scoresheet. Gary Dobson, in his first start in senior football, was the 'A' team's man of the match.
