On
a wet morning when many of the WSSL games were cancelled, Matamata
travelled to Morrinsville to play a game of football which many people
from both teams had been looking forward to.
With the game well under way both sides showed there's no love lost
between the local sides. Both teams battled well and had great games
with no actual result counting, but Matamata came through with bumps
and bruises and a 5 - 3 result. Nat having no game on this day jumped
in van and played well, deserving player of the day.
