Matamata Swifts AFC 75th Jubilee

A full weekend of entertainment brought the 2005 to a dramatic and wholly fulfilling close. Please use the links below to have a look at some of the fun that went on (they will be updated as the photos become available).

The weekend was very much about the people who built this club and kept it running, through all the good times and bad. We celebrated these people - from legends like Arthur Pringle, Amy Nobilo and Simmo, to the current crop of heroes such as Dave Mann, and so many others who have helped along the way.

It was also about all our fellow Swifts, the people who came from all parts of this country to share in our special occasion. We hope it was a weekend to remember and, in coming years, look back on fondly.

It’s a long time, 75 years, and it was well worth celebrating.
